Software Developer
The Software Developer is responsible for writing code to technical specifications, maintaining and improving current technology and software.
Essential Functions:
- Code, evaluate, test, optimize and repair code in both C# and VB.Net.
- Perform queries, refine data, streamline and format final product.
- Investigate, analyze, resolve and document reported defects.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
- Manage time, communicate upwards, and attend internal staff meetings. Perform project based programming and development of web applications using ASP.NET, C#/VB.Net, and Javascript.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee the release of new code and resolve issues as needed.
- Monitor logs and resolve issues.
- Comment and document code and processes.
- Mentor other members of staff on proprietary systems.
- Perform database related tasks in both Oracle/PLSQL and SQL Server/TSQL.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize company website’s and applications.
- Understand XHTML Transitional schema and develop interfaces using DHTML, CSS, jQuery, and table-less design.
- Work directly with other departments to implement new products and features.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sales Engineer
The Sales Engineer position is responsible for working intimately with our sales teams in both the agent and wholesale channels to help design, develop and implement sometimes creative technical solutions that will ultimately result in more business. This position will be a key technical resource for both internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of telecom sales engineering or engineering experience.
- Technical aptitude in both VoIP as well as legacy TDM telephony to be able to help guide partners and end users customers through their decision making process which ideally ends with a new customer for GLOBALINX.
- Able to speak at a high technical level with a CIO/CTO but will also possess the ability to filter information based on the audienec and there level of technical understanding.
- High level of organization, time management and follow through is critical as this role will juggle multiple calls and meetings through the course of a normal day.
- Some travel will be necessary to visit key accounts, partners or trade shows

ACD Administrator
This position is responsible for directing all technical activities associated with the Cosmo Com ACD system, and supporting the Resale of Cosmo Com as a product.
Essential Functions:
- Track and monitor server performance to ensure desired outcomes and ensure there are no spikes in utilization.
- Troubleshoot performance problems with call routing and delivery.
- Manage the Call Center technology to correct issues including software modifications, advancements, upgrades and hot fixes. Work with the internal IT department on computer updates or other technical issues that may affect incoming customer calls.
- Manage all IVR prompts through call scripting in order to help navigate customer calls through the menu process.
- Provide on call support for Call Center operations.
- Effectively work with the company’s IT and Engineering teams to promote/introduce new applications as well as ensure the Cosmo Com platform is operating effectively.
- Responsible for database management and advance reporting of the Cosmo Com ACD system. Utilizing sequel server and crystal reports.
- Build and maintain call routing applications through a GUI logic designer and XML to ensure calls are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Build and maintain outbound call initiatives, including automatic dialing and/or messaging, using the dialer feature in Cosmo Com in order to complete agentless outbound calling campaigns.
- Run customer reports based on departmental needs.
- Implement advanced Call Center applications that utilize new technology in order to increase departmental efficiencies.
- Consolidate and generate management information reports to analyze the Call Center’s overall business performance.
- Manage the technology review, development, and implementation of Call Center initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Call Center Groups.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the wholesale department in order to provide support for the resale of the Cosmo Com platform to outside customers and wholesalers.
